Verdicts and Settlements

* The amount of some verdicts may have been reduced by post-trial settlement, appeal, or remittitur. Some amounts may have been obtained by default judgment. Some verdicts may have been overturned on appeal. Some verdicts and settlements were obtained in other states besides Alabama. Beasley Allen does not represent that the same or similar results would be obtained in all cases. On consolidated litigation like MDLs and similar cases we counted the settlements wherein we were lead or co-lead counsel or where we were on the plaintiff steering committee or held an equivalent leadership position and played an active role on the settlement committee. We did not count others where we were only on the PSC or an equivalent leadership position.
