Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. has announced a third office, opening January 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. The Mobile office will be headed up by Frank Woodson as Managing Attorney-Mobile. Frank has been with Beasley Allen since 2001. Before coming to Montgomery, Frank practiced in Mobile for 17 years, from 1984-2001. During his time in Mobile, Frank served as President of the Mobile Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and served on the Executive Committee. He is looking forward to a homecoming in leading the team of lawyers in Mobile.
“Opening the office in Mobile is special to me for a lot of reasons,” said Woodson. “Being from Jackson, Alabama, having family on the Eastern Shore and working in Mobile for 17 years, I have family and many friends and colleagues in the area. I am coming home and look forward to serving clients who have been injured by no fault of their own and continue the motto of helping those who need it most.”
Lawyers in Mobile will include Evan Allen, a Principal with Beasley Allen who has several cases pending in Mobile County. He joins Woodson in opening the Mobile office. Evan currently serves as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama State Bar.
“I am excited and optimistic about the future of the Mobile office and future of the firm,” said Allen. “Beasley Allen has continued to evolve and grow throughout the firm’s history. The willingness to accept change sets Beasley Allen apart and has been integral to the firm’s success. I look forward to continuing that legacy with the new Mobile office.”
Frank and Evan also welcome Matthew R. Griffith to the firm. As a longtime lawyer in Mobile, Matt has been involved in high-stakes commercial litigation, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants, across the Gulf Coast and eastern seaboard. He has handled numerous lawsuits involving environmental and toxic exposure and will continue his practice in the area of Toxic Torts at Beasley Allen, with a focus on water contamination cases and the opioid litigation on behalf of cities, states and municipalities nationwide.
Although the physical location is new, Beasley Allen is not new to the Mobile or Baldwin County courts. The firm has been associated by Mobile firms many times over the years. Our Personal Injury & Products Liability Section tried the first civil case after a COVID pause this year and obtained a substantial verdict in a dram shop case. The firm also obtained a multi-million dollar verdict in Mobile two years ago.
The new office is located at 301 St. Louis Street. You can reach our lawyers in Mobile toll-free at 800-898-2034 or dial the Mobile office directly at 251-308-1515. More information about Beasley Allen Mobile is available on the Mobile office page of our website.
