About Larry
Larry Golston started his journey at Beasley Allen in 2000. He currently focuses on whistleblower litigation, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, business fraud, and class actions.
Larry has spent his entire career standing up for people and small businesses who’ve been hurt—whether by negligence or outright wrongdoing. Recognized as one of the best in his field, Larry holds the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV rating and was named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers—an honor reserved for the top 500 attorneys nationwide, as well as the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. He was also selected for Best Lawyers in America in 2022 and was named Beasley Allen’s Lawyer of the Year for the Fraud Section in 2012.
His track record speaks volumes. Larry’s helped whistleblowers, injured workers, and victims of fraud and environmental abuse win the justice they deserve. Some of his most impactful victories include a $4.6 million False Claims Act win against the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority and a $14.7 million recovery in a whistleblower case exposing illegal kickbacks at the Alabama Organ Center. He helped secure a $30 million settlement with a government contractor over rushed background checks and won nearly $2 million for a worker injured by unsafe machinery. Earlier in his career, he was part of a team that achieved a landmark $700 million+ settlement for toxic PCB contamination in Anniston, Alabama. His work also includes successful outcomes in business fraud and wage disputes, including a $1.7 million verdict for a small business and actions on behalf of underpaid police officers.
Beyond the courtroom, Larry has held leadership roles in several legal associations, including serving as President of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Alabama Lawyers Association, reflecting his commitment to justice and professional excellence.
Larry and his wife, Danielle Golston, are proud parents of two and active members of Northview Christian Church-Safe Harbor in Montgomery, Alabama. In his free time, he enjoys cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. He also volunteers as a head coach for youth football and basketball with the YMCA and speaks to students about the law and the importance of education.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama in 1995. While on campus, he was actively involved in student leadership, serving on the Residential Life Judicial Council and becoming a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
