If you look around our country, you will find that many streets bear names of influential people or crucial events. Beasley Allen recently had the privilege of representing the family of Auriel “Thumpa” Callaway. She was killed in a shooting at her apartment complex in Athens, Georgia.

Thumpa Avenue is the main road leading into Clarke Garden Apartments where Thumpa lived. Sadly, shootings like these are on the rise.
