Beasley Allen celebrates 40 years with a renewed commitment to Montgomery, River Region

Beasley Allen attorneys, staff, and other distinguished guests, including County Commission Chairman Elton Dean, Mayor Todd Strange, and Chamber of Commerce Executives,  joined today to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the firm now known as Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C.

Chairman Dean and Mayor Strange read proclamations announcing Jan. 7, 2019, as Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. Day, and encouraged residents to recognize the positive impact of local and national service this firm and its founder, Jere L. Beasley, have provided for the last 40 years.

Beasley Allen was founded in 1979 by Jere L. Beasley. Mr. Beasley served as the state’s 22nd Lieutenant Governor and briefly as Acting Governor when then-Gov. George C. Wallace was shot. After leaving politics, Mr. Beasley envisioned a career using his legal skills “helping those who need it most.”

The firm was established to provide legal service to both individuals and businesses who have been wronged by no act of their own, a protection provided by the Seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution, and that is a principle that still holds true at Beasley Allen.
