A South Carolina couple never expected a backup on Interstate 85 to change their lives. According to the lawsuit, the couple was traveling northbound on Interstate 85 in Anderson County, South Carolina, when traffic ahead came to a stop due to an earlier collision. What the Lawsuit Alleged

The complaint alleged that the driver who caused the crash failed to keep a proper lookout, drove at an unsafe speed, failed to maintain control of the vehicle, and failed to take action to avoid the collision. The lawsuit also alleged negligence against the vehicle owner.
