About Rylee
Rylee Buzbee started her journey at Beasley Allen as a law clerk before being promoted to attorney in 2025. She focuses on cases involving toxic exposure.
Growing up on the Alabama coast in Bayou La Batre, Rylee witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of the BP oil spill on her community. That experience sparked her passion for environmental law and continues to drive her dedication to protecting communities from harm. She is also deeply committed to juvenile justice, believing that children are our future and deserve meaningful investment and protection.
Rylee gives back to her community through volunteer work with the Montgomery Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, and playing pickleball with her family. Rylee is a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and First Assembly of God in Montgomery, Alabama.
Education
Rylee earned her undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida in 2022, graduating cum laude with a major in Legal Studies and minors in Juvenile Justice and Honors. While there, she co‑founded Argos’ Edible Campus, a program dedicated to fighting food insecurity, and participated in the Inside‑Out Program, which brought incarcerated and non‑incarcerated students together to study social justice issues. She also served as an Orientation Leader and Vice Chair of the Student Government Association’s Budget and Allocations Committee.
She went on to earn her law degree from Jones School of Law in 2025, where she served as Chair of the Board of Advocates, competed nationally with the Trial Advocacy Team, and was active in the Public Interest Law Foundation. As a Dean Fellow, she mentored first‑year law students, helping them navigate the challenges of law school.
