
About Miland
Miland F. Simpler, III, joined Beasley Allen in 2024. He currently focuses on Camp Lejeune water contamination cases.
He is a passionate attorney dedicated to defending the rights of individuals and ensuring the protection and preservation of our environment. His work is driven by a strong belief in justice and a desire to make a positive impact on both people’s lives and the world around us.
Miland’s approach to law is deeply personal, grounded in his strong values of faith and family, which he believes are essential for a fulfilling life.
He is actively involved in the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar. Miland previously served on the MCBA Young Lawyers Board and the State Bar Young Lawyers Executive Committee
When he’s not in court, Miland is a devoted husband and proud father of two. He’s an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, a passionate music lover, and enjoys spending time on the golf course whenever he can.
Education
Miland is a proud University of Alabama graduate, earning his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 2010. During his time there, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa, and served as President of the Order of Omega. He was also active in the Student Government Association and Lambda Sigma Honor Society.
He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2013. While in law school, Miland served as Student Articles Editor for The Law & Psychology Review and competed on the Campbell Moot Court Board and the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Moot Court Team.
