Personal Injury Lawyer Michael Crow

About Mike

Mike Crow started his journey at Beasley Allen in 1983. He focuses on cases involving trucking, auto products, premises liability, and brain injuries.

Mike holds an AV rating, a testament to his high ethical standards and professional excellence. Since 2011, he has been included in editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury and Product Liability, and he frequently appears on the prestigious Super Lawyers list. Most recently, he was named to Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers.

With a proven track record across many types of litigation, Mike has consistently achieved meaningful results for his clients and built a career defined by impactful cases. He successfully navigated complex issues of tribal immunity to obtain a substantial recovery for a young woman severely injured when an intoxicated employee of the Poarch Creek Indian Tribe used a company vehicle and caused a crash. His experience also includes serious workplace and premises injury cases, such as representing a truck driver injured by a hydraulic leak at a Winn‑Dixie warehouse—a case in which the jury’s verdict affirmed the severity of his injuries. Mike has earned significant verdicts in motor vehicle cases, including a $700,000 verdict for Marijo Stallings after a distracted driver caused serious injuries to her and her passengers. He has also litigated cases against major retailers like Walmart and Home Depot, drawing on his deep knowledge of their practices, and handled Section 1983 cases against school and jail administrators involving issues such as sexual assault by a substitute teacher, Title IX failures, and inadequate medical care for detainees.

He has been an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association grievance committee for over 20 years and has served on the Alabama State Bar Committee Disciplinary Commission since 2009. Mike is involved with several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, Plaintiffs Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, Alabama Association for Justice, Alabama State Bar, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Montgomery Country Trial Lawyers Association, and Montgomery Retriever Club, where he serves as president.

Mike and his wife, Marla, are proud parents of two children and dedicated members of Wesley Methodist Church. Mike enjoys cycling, while Marla is passionate about tennis and running. In his free time, Mike is actively involved in Retriever Field Trials, judging events across the nation and training four Labrador retrievers. One of his Labradors has been a top contender for the best retriever in the country since 2020 and has consistently qualified for the National Retriever Championship over the past five years.

Education

Mike earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1986. Prior to that, he completed both his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in 1978 and his Master of Science (M.S.) in 1980 at Auburn University at Montgomery.
