India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has released a preliminary report offering early insights into the cause of the crash. The findings suggest a rare and catastrophic dual-engine failure, with both General Electric GEnx engines losing thrust seconds after takeoff.
The onboard flight data and cockpit voice recorders have been recovered and are under analysis, with more detailed findings expected soon.
