
About Mike
Mike Crow started his journey at Beasley Allen in 1983. He focuses on cases involving trucking, auto products, premises liability, and brain injuries.
Mike holds an AV rating, a testament to his high ethical standards and professional excellence. Since 2011, he has been a consistent presence on the Best Lawyers in America list, and he frequently appears on the prestigious Super Lawyers list. Most recently, he was named to Lawgragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers.
A proven track record in various types of litigation- Mike has a history of achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. One of his most memorable cases involves a truck driver injured at a Winn Dixie warehouse due to a hydraulic leak. When the jury announced the verdict, his client was overcome with emotion, shedding tears of joy as they validated his story and recognized the severity of his injury. Another notable case involved Marijo Stallings, who received a $700,000 verdict after a distracted driver caused significant injuries to her and her passengers. Mike has also successfully litigated against major retailers like Wal-Mart and Home Depot, leveraging his extensive knowledge of their practices. Additionally, he has handled cases involving section 1983 violations against school and jail administrators, addressing issues from sexual assault by a substitute teacher to failures in Title IX policy implementation and inadequate medical care for detainees.
He has been an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association grievance committee for over 20 years and has served on the Alabama State Bar Committee Disciplinary Commission since 2009. Mike is involved with several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, Plaintiffs Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, Alabama Association for Justice, Alabama State Bar, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Montgomery Country Trial Lawyers Association, and Montgomery Retriever Club, where he serves as president.
Mike and his wife, Marla, are proud parents of two children and dedicated members of the Church of the Highlands. Mike enjoys cycling, while Marla is passionate about tennis and running. In his free time, Mike is actively involved in Retriever Field Trials, judging events across the nation and training four Labrador retrievers. One of his Labradors has been a top contender for the best retriever in the country since 2020 and has consistently qualified for the National Retriever Championship over the past five years.
Education
Mike earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1986. Prior to that, he completed both his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in 1978 and his Master of Science (M.S.) in 1980 at Auburn University at Montgomery.
