There probably aren’t many people out there today who don’t know what Facebook is. A social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them, Facebook is the leading tool for making personal and business connections. It’s a way to easily communicate with those who are interested in who you are and what you do. People choose to join your network of online “Friends” or “Fans,” ensuring that you are reaching an audience that is interested in what you have to say. Beasley Allen launched its official Facebook account in June 2009, and within one week had more than 100 fans. Currently, after just a little less than one month, Beasley Allen has nearly 1,500 fans following our posts. Content may include legal news, breaking news about ongoing cases and verdicts, and news about the firm’s activities within the community.
YouTube is the world’s most popular online video community, allowing millions of people to discover, watch and share originally-created videos. YouTube provides a forum for people to connect, inform, and inspire others across the globe and acts as a distribution platform for original content creators and advertisers large and small.

Growing just as fast as Facebook, if not faster, Twitter is like shorthand for news and announcements about your business. Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question; What are you doing? Like Facebook, people using Twitter choose to follow your posts, so you know you have an audience that’s interested in your message. Twitter is a great way to keep in touch with these people regularly, keeping your business top-of-mind. Beasley Allen utilizes Twitter to let our followers know about breaking news like verdicts and settlements in important cases, as well as to point them to new web sites, announcements about product recalls or new cases we are investigating, or about our work in the community. Posts are short, limited to 140 characters, but can be used to direct followers to your web site for the full story.
Flickr is an online photo sharing community. It’s a great place to make a large number of images accessible to the public, adding impact to your message through visual connections. Beasley Allen regularly posts images from firm events, such as our annual fall attorney conference, which in 2008 drew more than 800 lawyers from throughout the state to Montgomery; to participation in community events like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, fund raising events for organizations such as Brantwood Children’s Home, and holiday outreach at Capitol Hill Health Care Center. Beasley Allen also uses Flickr as a gallery for some of the firm’s historic images, including Founding Shareholder Jere L. Beasley in his days at the state’s Lieutenant Governor. Flickr provides us an opportunity to showcase the firm’s greatest strength – our people.
