November 19-20, 2010
Beasley Allen will host its fourth annual continuing education seminar for Alabama attorneys in private practice November 19-20 in Montgomery. The Legal Strategies Conference & Expo is the premier annual event for lawyers to enhance their knowledge of current legal issues while earning continuing legal education (CLE) credits.
More than 1,400 lawyers are expected to attend the 2010 LSCE, which will be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center. This two-day event is the largest gathering of its kind in the state and will feature dynamic and inspiring speakers and guests, as well as special events and activities for conference attendees.
This year’s speakers will include:
- Jere L. Beasley – Founding Shareholder, Beasley Allen
- Dr. David Bronner – CEO, Retirement Systems of Alabama
- Morris Dees – Founder and Chief Trial Counsel, Southern Poverty Law Center
- Judge Charles Price
- Judge Joel Dubina
- John Croyle – Founder, Big Oak Ranch
The conference will begin on Friday morning, November 19, and continue for a half-day on Saturday. Friday evening will feature a Dinner Reception, while Saturday morning will begin with a Prayer Breakfast.
The event also will feature a legal services expo featuring a very limited number of the nation’s top legal services providers. The expo provides attendees the opportunity to learn more about the leading products and services that support our litigation efforts.
Special activities for spouses, children and guests include discounts at the Renaissance Spa and a shopping excursion to Pickwick Antiques.
Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center will serve as the host for this year’s Legal Strategies Conference and Expo. The 4-star hotel features state-of-the-art “wired” rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, first-class dining, full-service spa and alfresco patio bar. Perfectly located in Montgomery’s historic downtown, the hotel is directly adjacent to Montgomery’s new Alley.
In addition to the Renaissance, our guests will stay at other beautiful properties adjacent to the convention location, including the newly renovated Embassy Suites and the Hampton Inn & Suites boutique hotel, housed in a historic building, as well as a variety of accommodations throughout the city.
