Fans who tuned in to the Speed Channel to watch the ARCA RE/MAX series race at Kentucky Speedway a few weeks ago ended up glued to the edge of their seat as BeasleyAllen.com Racing driver Grant Enfinger delivered a 38-lap neck-and-neck battle with Penske driver Parker Klingerman, eventually finishing in second place, missing the trophy by half a second. This weekend, on Aug. 28, Enfinger will be gunning for the win at the Chicagoland Speedway, racing in the ARCA RE/MAX series Ansell Cut Protection 150 event. This race will be broadcast live on the Speed Channel beginning at 5:15 p.m. CDT. The channel also is expected to show highlights of the exciting Kentucky Speedway finish.
ARCA, or the “Automobile Racing Club of America,” is a fast-paced series regarded as a stepping stone to the NASCAR Sprint Cup series for American stock cars. The series is a unique test of drivers’ abilities on the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world. Enfinger has been preparing both the primary and backup ARCA intermediate track cars for the race, testing on the 1.5-mile high-banked track.
BeasleyAllen.com Racing promotes the Beasley Allen law firm to race fans throughout the southeastern United States, while also working to bring attention to the battle against Cystic Fibrosis. Enfinger is a graduate of the University of South Alabama (Mobile) Mitchell School of Business, with an emphasis in marketing. Since his graduation in December 2007, he has devoted his time and energy to his racing career. Helping Grant in the shop on a daily basis is Craig “Snowman” McCrimmon.
BeasleyAllen racing will make another appearance on Speed TV on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at 11 a.m. CDT, competing in the ARCA series at Rockingham, North Carolina. Other races in the coming weeks include the Snowball Derby in Pensacola, Fla., on Dec. 6 and the ARCA Test in Daytona on December 18.
