(November 10, 2011) – Beasley Allen Law Firm will host its fifth annual Legal Strategies Conference & Expo at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center beginning Thursday, Nov. 17, and continuing through Friday, Nov. 18. The conference has grown steadily each year, from about 400 lawyers in 2007 to 1,500 expected this year.

“Nationally acclaimed law firm Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis and Miles, P.C. continues to support the local community while showcasing the city they so heavily invest in,” said Dawn Hathcock, Vice President of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitor Bureau. “Each year their Legal Strategies Conference, the largest of its kind within the state of Alabama, creates a huge boost to the River Region, contributing roughly a million dollars in economic impact. Events of this stature are extremely important, as we continue to market Montgomery as a true meeting destination.”

The meeting will feature speakers including Beasley Allen Founding Shareholder Jere L. Beasley; Governor Robert Bentley; Attorney General Luther Strange; Morris Dees, Founder and Chief Trial Counsel, Southern Poverty Law Center; Judge Charles Price; Jim Pratt, President, Alabama State Bar; and Tony McLain, General Counsel, Alabama State Bar. At the Legal Services Expo, vendors will provide demonstrations of products and answer questions about how attorneys can best enhance their practice. Event platinum sponsors include LexisNexis, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, Freedom Court Reporting and Jackson Thornton Valuation & Litigation among others.

Legal and community groups including the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyer Program, Alabama Law Foundation, Alabama Civil Justice Foundation and Jones School of Law also will be present to speak with attorneys in attendance.

A positive manner

Several years ago my brother and sister -in-law were in a terrible car accident. My sister in-law was paralyzed from her neck down. Beasley Allen handled the case for my brother to see to it that my sister-in-law received the proper and necessary care she needed. I appreciate the attorneys and staff of Beasley Allen in handling this matter quickly and in a positive manner. Good job Beasley Allen!!
