The Fair Labor Standards Act, originally passed in 1938, intends to prevent employers from taking advantage of their employees and establishes basic rights of employees. At Beasley Allen Law Firm, Lance Gould focuses on collective actions involving the FLSA, representing clients whose employers purposefully misclassify employees to avoid expenses or decline paying overtime wages, training pay, workers compensation benefits, certain taxes and other employee benefits.
