Beasley Allen founder Jere Beasley told WSFA-TV12 News that drug makers and distributors will have to admit wrongdoing in the global opioid crisis. The prediction was in response to an historic ruling in Oklahoma holding Johnson & Johnson liable for its part in fueling the opioid epidemic. Judge Thad Balkman ruled J&J must pay $572 million to the state to abate damages inflicted by drug abuse and addiction resulting from opioid marketing. Mr. Beasley says $100 billion would be a conservative estimate for a global settlement. Cities, counties and towns are struggling under the weight of caring for and treating addiction. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates more than 200,000 people have died as a result of opioids since 1999.

I received another check today, much to my surprise. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I never dreamed how much this would mean to me in my golden years, as I have had hearing problems for years and needed to update my hearing aids, but with a limited income, found that was impossible. I now have the best hearing aids that I have ever had, thanks to you fighting so hard on my behalf.
