Decades of Lies About Talc Bared by Reuters

Ted Meadows, a lawyer in Beasley Allen’s Mass Torts Section, has been leading the firm’s charge in cases where talcum powder caused ovarian cancer. Ted talks with CBS Evening News about the recent Reuters exposé detailing how Johnson & Johnson has been deceiving consumers for decades regarding the dangers of its talc-based products. He explained that the company not only knew its talcum products such as Baby Powder were contaminated with the cancer-causing mineral asbestos, but top company officials also actively worked to hide the damning information from the public. Ted and other Beasley Allen lawyers have obtained favorable verdicts on behalf of five plaintiffs totaling more than $724 million. Johnson & Johnson continues to deny the allegations even as its stock prices plunge.

I never dreamed how much this would mean to me

I received another check today, much to my surprise. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I never dreamed how much this would mean to me in my golden years, as I have had hearing problems for years and needed to update my hearing aids, but with a limited income, found that was impossible. I now have the best hearing aids that I have ever had, thanks to you fighting so hard on my behalf.
