Beasley Allen will host its seventh annual Seatcheck Saturday event on Saturday, Sept. 24. The event allows parents and caregivers to have their child safety seats inspected by certified technicians to be sure they are using the correct size for their child, and that the seat is installed correctly. Beasley Allen lawyer Ali Hawthorne told WSFA reporter Judd Davis that in her work she often sees devastating accidents involving serious injury and death, and hopes this event can help prevent tragedies where children are killed because of improperly installed car seats. The event is part of National Child Passenger Safety Week. The event is 9 a.m.-noon at the Shoppes at EastChase in Montgomery, Ala. There is no charge.

Lawyers and staff continue to help me
I suffered from an allergic reaction to a common medication causing permanent injury when I was 15 years old. My settlement allows me to take care of myself instead of being on disability. Even after my case was over, the lawyers and staff continue to help me.
