About Natanya

Natanya Brooks is an attorney working in Beasley Allen’s Toxic Torts Section, and she focuses her work representing states in the massive opioid litigation.

Natanya is a seasoned trial attorney who has successfully tried cases to verdict throughout Georgia, including DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, Henry, Pickens, Oconee and Bartow counties. Natanya has represented clients in a variety of cases, including wrongful death, tractor-trailer accidents, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-falls, road rage, burn cases, school fights, animal attacks, home explosions, bus accidents, gas leaks, wrongful arrest, shooting cases, deck collapse cases, and other catastrophic injury cases.

Community Involvement
Natanya serves in a number of roles at Emory Law including: as a practitioner leader for the Emory Law Professionalism Program and as an adjunct faculty member for Emory Law School’s Trial Techniques Program. She is also involved in the Georgia Tech community, including as a member of the Georgia Tech Letterwinners Club; and on the Ti:ger Program Alumni Reunion Committee. Natanya also served as the past president of the Spalding Corners Swim and Tennis Club.

As a record-breaking Georgia Tech Varsity swimmer, Natanya has an unmatched competitive drive. After graduating with highest honors in just three years, she continued her education by earning her legal degree from Emory University. There, she was elected and served as Director-in-Chief of the Emory Law Mock Trial Society.

Natanya grew up locally and graduated from Dunwoody High School where she was recently inducted into the Dunwoody High School Hall of Fame. She now lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband, Durant, who played football at Georgia Tech and in the National Football League, and their two daughters.

After her own emergency surgery, Natanya dedicated her legal practice to helping those who have been injured. Her personal understanding of the physical, mental, emotional and financial battle involved with a serious injury motivates her day in and day out.
