There is an effort currently underway to remove the rights of consumers to seek justice through the court system when they are injured by a product or drug. The issue is preemption, and it would essentially provide companies with immunity from lawsuits despite negligent action on their part. Beasley Allen's Founding Shareholder, Jere L. The Alabama State Bar just announced a program to help people facing foreclosure. The program will provide free help from a lawyer through Legal Services of Alabama. The goal is to help people keep their homes by working with lenders to find alternatives to foreclosure.
Brantwood Children's Home officials cut the ribbon to their brand new tennis court. The Montgomery Rotary Club made this possible by raising thousands of dollars at a fundraiser. the director, Kim Herbert, believes this tennis court will help the children gain personal strength. Brantwood Children's Home is a safe house for children ages 10 to 21.
Ashley Paige of CBS-8 interviewed Gibson Vance about the great Strides walk. Beasley Allen has sponsored this walk for 5 years. On May 18th, at 2:00, the Great Strides walk will be held at the Montgomery Zoo. About 1,000 kids a year are diagnosed with this disease. By walking and raising money, we are one step closer to finding a cure to Cystic Fibrosis.

WAKA Channel 8 reports on the hundreds that walked at the Montgomery Zoo to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year, Beasley Allen raised over $100 million for reasearch to find a cure. 1 in every 31 Americans are carries, yet there is no cure at this time.
