Beasley Allen attorney Kendall Dunson appears on The Beasley Allen Report, hosted by Gibson Vance. On this episode, Kendall shares information about his case involving a deadly school bus crash in Huntsville, Ala., that occurred in November 2006. Beasley Allen represented the family of a high school senior who was killed in the crash. Three other students also died when the school bus they were riding in left the highway and plunged off an overpass after the bus collided with another car. Kendall talks about how lawyers and investigators were able to reconstruct the circumstances of the crash, and how evidence uncovered negligence and wanton disregard for safety on the part of the bus company. As a result of this lawsuit, the City of Huntsville terminated its contract with the bus company, helping to make travel safer for students and residents of the area. The case also sparked public debate about whether seatbelts should be mandated for all school bus passengers.
