1989 – In this case, the Defendant nursing home negligently treated Plaintiff. As a result of this, Plaintiff died from bedsores. The defendant had been cited several times before for poor care, including failing to turn patients every four hours. The jury awarded this substantial amount to let defendant know that it should take better care of our elderly.
