September, 2004 – In this case, Plaintiff's child was killed on Christmas Day while driving a defective Yamaha motorized bike. Defendant knew or should have known about the dangerous defect, yet did not do anything to try to prevent the defect. As a result, Plaintiff's child was killed. The jury awarded this verdict to encourage defendant to use appropriate safety measures on future vehicles.
