Suzuki Motor Corporation announced the recall of about 1,350 units of the Suzuki QuadSport ATV. The regulator / rectifier circuit board can fail and cause the engine to stall during riding due to an insufficient battery charge, increasing the risk of a crash.

Unilever, manufacturer of Skippy brand peanut butter products, has notified consumers of a recall of its Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread. In what may be one of the most bizarre automobile recalls ever, Mazda Motor Corp. announced on Thursday that it is recalling more than 65,000 of its Mazda6 cars due to ... spiderwebs. Apparently, a particular type of spider called the Yellow Sac spider likes to make its home in the fuel hoses of this particular model. Spiderwebs constructed in the hoses could possibly restrict the vehicle's vent line, which could cause the emissions control system to increase pressure in the fuel tank and possibly causing fuel leaks.

Various prescription and over-the-counter cough, cold and allergy drugs will be removed from the market because they were never approved for use and may be dangerous to consumers, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The drugs have never been evaluated by the federal agency for safety, effectiveness and quality.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Pier 1 Imports, announced a voluntary recall of Golden tea lights sold with ornament tea light holders. The flame from the tea lights can burn with a high flame, posing a fire hazard. There have been four reports of high flames, with one incident resulting in minor burns suffered by the consumer.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Burlington Basket Company, has announced a voluntary recall of about 500,000 baby bassinets. If the cross-bracing rails are not fully locked into position, the bassinets can collapse, causing the infant to fall to the floor or fall within the bassinet and suffer injuries.

Ford Motor Company announced a recall of 144,000 Ford F-150 pickup trucks in the United States and Canada. A defect in the front airbags may cause the airbag to deploy unexpectedly. The recall affects model years 2005 and 2006. Affected vehicles were manufactured at Ford's Norfolk, Virginia, assembly plant.
