Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. announces that shareholder Ted Meadows and associates Roger Smith and Navan Ward have been admitted to the Mississippi Bar.

Meadows, a former partner in Davenport, Lavette & Meadows, P.C., represents personal injury victims in cases against pharmaceutical companies and orthopedic device manufacturers. He is a member of several professional law associations including the American Bar Association and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, among others. He is married to Carla Musgrove and they have two children, Nathan and Amanda.

Smith is a member of the firm’s Mass Torts-Pharmaceutical Division. In addition to Mississippi, he is admitted to practice law in Arizona, Alabama, Minnesota and Tennessee. His professional membership includes the American Bar Association, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, and several state bars, among others. Smith also serves on the Alabama State Bar Task Force. He is married to Claudia C. Kennedy and they have one daughter, Sarah.

Ward, who works in the firm’s nursing home division where he litigates nursing home neglect and abuse cases, graduated from the University of Alabama in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and management. He received the Authurine Lucy Foster Outstanding Minority Leadership Award while at UA. His professional memberships include Montgomery Trial Lawyers Association and the Alabama Bar Association, among others.
