LaBarron Boone named as Beasley Allen’s Attorney of the Year for 2007

Beasley Allen’s attorney of the year is not only a lawyer, but is also an engineer. He is a team player that is passionate about his work. His clients have great respect for him and constantly give him praise.

LaBarron joined the firm in 1995 and has been instrumental in presenting cases involving product liability, consumer fraud and personal injury. His wide-ranging experience is evident, as he has handled a wide variety of cases involving: crashworthiness, seatbelt restraint systems, inadvertent airbag deployments, tractor rollover litigation, tire tread separation (Ford/Firestone), insurance and finance fraud, etc. In addition, he has successfully handled numerous consumer and insurance fraud cases for the firm. LaBarron’s most recent notable verdict was a $4 million verdict in the case of Carolyne Thorne v. Wal-Mart Stores received coverage in the Wallstreet Journal and other national media outlets.

He is involved in many community and social activities, such as serving on the Cleveland Avenue YMCA Board of Management; Resurrection Catholic Church Board of Trustees.

He has been honored as the alumni of the year by the Black Law Student Association at the University of Alabama the “Award of Excellence” by the Montgomery County Democratic Committee, the “Hands for Children Award”.

LaBarron is married to the former Lori David and has two children, Micah and Logan. They are members of Christ Community Church.
