Fiber Optic

Decades ago, utility companies and railroads obtained easements from landowners to bury utility lines, pipes , track or other products on a small portion of a landowner's property. However, landowners did not grant these easements for any other uses, but these companies are now selling some of those easement rights to the fiber optic companies for profits. The Landowners are not receiving the adequate compensation from these unintended new users of the property.

Our firm is currently working on a number of these fiber optic cases in Alabama , Florida and Mississippi. This litigation is in the early stages, but we are confident that the courts and juries of this country will rectify the unjust enrichment by the utility companies and railroads at the expense of ordinary consumers.
