Chisholm Ministry Center is asking for our help by donating new toys for children ages infant to 18 years of age. The gift should be no more than $20. Your gifts are placed in their Toy Store which is designed to help low income families who cannot afford to pay retail prices for these items. The gifts are marked down to an extremely reduced rate, lowest being $.50 and highest being $3.00. The Toy Store ministry was established to help place dignity and respect back into the home by affording the parents the opportunity to provide a Christmas for their children. Please keep in mind that because there is a price tag does not mean people who cannot afford to pay are turned away. Those who cannot afford to pay are allowed to shop for their children at no cost. Also, whatever money is made on the gifts sold at the Toy Store goes back to the Ministry to provide financial assistance, purchase food, clothing, and other items for the needy. Please contact Sherry McHenry at 495-1589 about donating a gift. Or you can drop your gifts off at our offices in downtown Montgomery, 218 Commerice Street 36104.
