Glover will serve as President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association (STLA) through March 2012

MONTGOMERY, ALA. (March 14, 2011) – Chris Glover, Shareholder with Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C., was elected President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association (STLA) at the organization’s 23rd Annual Conference, held in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 3-6. Glover will lead the organization March 2011 through March 2012. It is the mission of the STLA to promote fellowship, learning and networking among trial lawyers throughout the 13 southern states.

“I am extremely honored to serve as President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association,” Glover said. “I truly love being a member of STLA. I enjoy STLA as much as anything I do because I’ve created so many lasting friendships through my membership. It is humbling to be asked to lead such an accomplished group of lawyers.”

Membership in the STLA is by nomination made by a member of the Board of Directors, with approval by other Board members from the nominee’s state and, thus, consists of some of the “best of the best” throughout the south.

Lawyers and staff continue to help me

I suffered from an allergic reaction to a common medication causing permanent injury when I was 15 years old. My settlement allows me to take care of myself instead of being on disability. Even after my case was over, the lawyers and staff continue to help me.
