ba racing Beasley Allen firm sponsoring ARCA driver to kick off racing season

Enfinger will drive the BeasleyAllen.com racecar at two of the fastest tracks in the nation to kick off the 2011 racing season

MONTGOMERY, ALA. (February 8, 2011) – Although Beasley Allen’s sponsorship commitment to the ARCA race program expired at the end of 2010, the firm has decided to sponsor the BeasleyAllen.com car at the two fastest tracks in the country. Beasley Allen will be on the hood and sides of the No. 36 ARCA car driver Grant Enfinger will race Saturday, Feb. 12, at the World Center of Racing. The Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 will kick off Daytona Speed Weeks, which is the beginning of the race season. Grant also will drive at Talladega on April 15.

“The race team and I appreciate Beasley Allen stepping up in this ‘bonus’ sponsorship for the Daytona race this weekend and Talladega April 15,” Enfinger said. “Both races will be televised live nationally, but we hope that as many fans as possible can join us in person for the Talladega race where we have run so well.”

“I’ve literally watched Grant grow up,” says Beasley Allen shareholder Greg Allen, who is actively involved with the Beasley Allen racing program. “I’ve known him since he was a baby, and even in his earliest days racing has been a passion for him. I watched him go from go-kart racing as a youngster, on up until today he’s one of the top drivers in the ARCA circuit. You know, it’s strange to watch someone you remember as a baby racing around a track at 200 miles an hour, and ‘pushing’ another car at those speeds,” he says with a chuckle. “Grant is as passionate as anyone I’ve ever seen about racing.”

In 2009, Grant finished his first race at the world’s fastest race track in third place. Last year, he led the final 42 laps before being “hung out” of the draft when the car pushing him from behind changed lanes and wrecked, relegating Grant to sixth place when the checkered flag flew.

Grant drove to Daytona Beach Monday for a full week of activity, including meetings, technical inspections and practice before Friday’s two-lap qualifying session. The race will be telecast on the Speed Channel Saturday at 3:30 pm CST. For more information on the race and ARCA activities this week, visit www.arcaracing.com

I never dreamed how much this would mean to me

I received another check today, much to my surprise. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I never dreamed how much this would mean to me in my golden years, as I have had hearing problems for years and needed to update my hearing aids, but with a limited income, found that was impossible. I now have the best hearing aids that I have ever had, thanks to you fighting so hard on my behalf.
