A lawsuit recently filed against the makers of Vioxx alleges that Merck knew, or should have known of the harmful side effects of Vioxx, but continued to market the drug without warning the public about the dangers. The lawsuit is one of 11 lawsuits that have been filed against Merck by the firm of Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis, & Miles P.C., located in Montgomery, Alabama.
