Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. shareholder J.P. Sawyer has been admitted to the Ohio Bar. Sawyer was sworn in on November 13 before the Ohio Supreme Court in Columbus.

Sawyer graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993. His practice focuses on nursing home litigation. Sawyer is also admitted to the Northern, Middle and Southern Alabama divisions of the U.S. District Court and the Northern and Southern Mississippi divisions of the U.S. District Court.

He is a member of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Alabama State Bar, Mississippi Bar Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association and Montgomery County Bar Association.
