We are asking the participants to fill a box and/or donate items to fill boxes. (Cash donations accepted, please make checks payable to Tabitha McGuire (receipts will be kept for purchases) Recommend items are: magazines (People, Time, Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, etc.), word puzzle books, hard candy for themselves and for the children they meet, sunflower seeds, Gatorade packets, Slim Jims/Beef Jerky, cookies, packs of crackers, candy canes, basic personal hygiene products: disposable razors, lotion, toothbrush and tooth paste (for Males and Females). Gum, devotional books, lip balm, Q-tips, small versions of travel games, hand held games, baby wipes (packets are better than tubs, much better than baby wipes, per se, are the “Hoo Ahhs” brand of pre-moistened, alcohol-free, unscented Field Towels), Pre-paid Phone Card so service member can call home, maybe even a Christmas Stocking.
