Tom Methvin featured on WSFA as March of Dimes Citizen of the Year

Beasley Allen Principal & Managing Attorney Tom Methvin was honored Tuesday night, Oct. 14, as the March of Dimes River Region Citizen of the Year at a testimonial dinner. This annual event honors an outstanding community partner whose distinguished leadership and devoted service to the community have contributed greatly to the quality of life for Alabama and its people. WSFA spoke with Methvin, who said he was humbled to have been recognized for the award, and to be among the outstanding community leaders who have been selected in the past. The event raised more than $150,000 for the March of Dimes in the River Region this year, and has raised more than $1.8 million in the past 11 years. Money raised will help the March of Dimes achieve its mission of preventing premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality by funding medical research, programs of community service, education and advocacy.
