Rick Morrison discusses a lawsuit filed against a helmet manufacturer

Beasley Allen principal Rick Morrison recently filed a Schutt helmet lawsuit alleging the manufacturer’s helmet padding was not tested well enough to prevent the brain injury and death of Demario Harris, Jr. According to Morrison, football helmet technology is extremely important in protecting young athletes’ lives, but despite of this, the helmet’s testing was “woefully inadequate.”

Schutt has yet to respond to WSFA’s request for comment on the pending litigation.

A positive manner

Several years ago my brother and sister -in-law were in a terrible car accident. My sister in-law was paralyzed from her neck down. Beasley Allen handled the case for my brother to see to it that my sister-in-law received the proper and necessary care she needed. I appreciate the attorneys and staff of Beasley Allen in handling this matter quickly and in a positive manner. Good job Beasley Allen!!
