Nursing homes and assisted living facilities work to protect their businesses from legal action. One frequent protective measure they force upon patients and their loved ones is a mandatory pre-dispute binding arbitration agreement, which is included in the contract that is signed when a patient is admitted into the facility. Although the courts have allowed arbitration agreements to continue, they have also provided rights to nursing facility patients and their families. Beasley Allen attorney Chris Boutwell explains some of these rights provided under the law so that you, too, can be prepared.

I never dreamed how much this would mean to me
I received another check today, much to my surprise. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I never dreamed how much this would mean to me in my golden years, as I have had hearing problems for years and needed to update my hearing aids, but with a limited income, found that was impossible. I now have the best hearing aids that I have ever had, thanks to you fighting so hard on my behalf.
