Heart Walk Yard Sale - Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama

The Heart Walk is the signature fund-raising event for the American Heart Association.

The Heart Walk yardsale was Saturday, March 25, 2006 at EastMont Baptist Church. A total of $500 was raised at the yardsale. Our firm also had the most walkers to sign up. A total of 29 recruited thanks to Beth White who helped raise right at $1,000 for this great cause.

Cardiovascular diseases are Americas No. 1 killer, claiming more than 930,000 American lives each year, more than the next five leading causes of death combined - a life every thirty seconds. These are people of all races and ethnicities - our grandparents, fathers, mothers, friends and neighbors. They're also our children, because cardiovascular diseases are the third leading cause of death for children under age 15.
