Rebuilding Together - Montgomery, Alabama

This year Beasley Allen co-sponsored a house with Entec Stations for Rebuilding Together.

We worked on the house Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22nd. During these two days we cleaned and organized the inside of the house, painted and renovated the house (including putting down a wheelchair access ramp).

Rebuilding Together's mission is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, from the elderly and disabled to families with children, live in warmth, safety, and independence. In partnership with communities, Rebuilding Together's goal is to make a sustainable impact.

Rebuilding Together makes this impact through providing necessary repairs free of charge to existing homeowners. These necessary repairs often include home modifications, roofing, plumbing, and electrical repairs and/or improvements - Rebuilding Together's goal is to provide a warm, safe and dry environment for low-income homeowners , enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

While many affiliates provide year-round services, all affiliates plan and prepare rebuilding projects or another special event on National Rebuilding Day, typically held on the last Saturday in April.
