About Luke Bentley
Luke graduated from Duke University in 1997 with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force as an airlift pilot, flying numerous combat missions during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He continues to serve as a reservist in the 908th Airlift Wing on Maxwell Air Force Base.
Luke obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2010, graduating cum laude from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. During law school, he earned academic achievement awards in numerous classes, including environmental law, and was a member of the Faulkner Law Review.
While attending law school, Luke clerked in the toxic torts section at Beasley Allen, and continued working in that section after passing the bar in July 2010. He is currently working on cases involving the TVA Coal Ash Spill in Tennessee, and BP Litigation.
Luke is married to Aimee Moody Bentley from Montgomery. They have two children, Luke V and Annalee.
