About Lee Jordan
Lee Jordan rejoined Beasley Allen in August 2011 as an attorney in the firm's Toxic Torts section. She is currently focusing on the BP Oil Spill litigation. Lee previously worked at Beasley Allen from 1996-2000 as a law clerk while attending Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. She opened her own private practice upon earning her J.D. in 2000, Magna Cum Laude. In private practice, she worked primarily in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal law, juvenile law and probate law. She also worked at Beasley Allen from 2009-2010 as a Staff Attorney in Mass Torts, handling pain pump cases. She continues in private practice in addition to her current work with Beasley Allen.
While working full time and as a single mother, Lee graduated law school Magna Cum Laude and remained on the Dean’s list her entire law school career (1996-1999). She was a member of the Jones Law Review. Lee also was elected Student Bar Association Second Year Senator. She was honored with Outstanding Achievement Awards in Federal Jurisdiction, Contracts II, Criminal Law and Legal Research and Writing. She was also awarded with a Scholastic Achievement Award after the completion of her first year of law school and was awarded the West Publishing Academic Achievement Award after the completion of her third year of law school. Lee was named in Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities while in law school in 1998.
Lee is a certified Guardian Ad Litem for the State of Alabama. She also is trained and certified in Victim-Offender mediation as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution and Community Sentencing Conciliation.
Lee is married to Michael W. Jordan. She has one daughter, Tara, and two step-sons, Justin and Jeremy. She enjoys boating, fishing and writing and is a rabid SEC football fan.
