About Jimmie

Jimmie joined Beasley Allen Law Firm in October 2016 in our Mass Torts Section. He is working on cases from all areas within the section and preparing litigation for trial, including drafting motions and researching substantive and procedural cases and rulings in circuit courts and various multidistrict litigations.

Education

He earned his J.D. from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May 2012. He received Best Paper recognition for intellectual property, was a public interest fellow and received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He served as two-time justice for Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity – Patterson Chapter, was treasurer for the Animal Legal Defense Fund and vice-president of the Jones Public Interest Legal Foundation.

He earned his LL.M. in Business Law at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in December 2017. He earned High Honors in Business Association: Transactional Perspective; Contract Drafting and Strategies; and Securities Regulation. He earned Honors in Mergers and Acquisitions; and Business/Accounting for Lawyers.

Jimmie earned his B.S. in sociology from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in May 2006. He earned Sociological Department undergraduate honors and was included on the Dean’s List.

Professional Associations

Jimmie is a member of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity, where he is Central Alabama Alumni Chapter Justice and an Alumni Advisor to the Patterson Chapter. Previously, he was an International Alumni Advisory Council member for the organization as well.

He was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of California in December 2012.

Community Involvement

Jimmie was voted onto the board of directors of the Montgomery-based Friendship Mission Inc. in January 2018.

Background

Prior to joining Beasley Allen, Jimmie worked as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Terry F. Moorer at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Gray M. Borden at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.

From Huntington Beach, California, Jimmie loves the beach and surfing. He also enjoys watching and attending college football games and is an avid concert-goer. Jimmie and his wife, Tiffany, live in Pike Road with their  Dachshund-mix dog (Dexter), two cats (Oliver and Jack) and a Jack Russell Terrier (Josie).
