About Jake Jeter
Jake worked as a summer intern at Beasley Allen in 2009 and 2010, before joining the firm full-time in August 2011. He is a Staff Attorney in the Consumer Fraud section, working with other attorneys and staff researching various fraud cases, including document review for the Toyota Sudden Unintended Acceleration litigation.
After graduating high school from Bayside Academy, Jake attended Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance in 2008. He earned his J.D. at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May 2011.While in law school, Jake served on the Honor Court from 2008-2011, and was the Honor Court Chief Justice from 2010-2011. He also participated as a regional finalist in the ABA Dispute Resolution and Mediation Competition in 2011.
During his time at Jones, Jake and his service dog Phoenix were featured in a national advertising campaign for Milk-Bone, a major sponsor of the Canine Assistants program.
Jake has a light sport pilot's license and really enjoys flying. He and his father are building a Van's RV-12 kit aircraft which they hope to finish in the near future. Jake also enjoys hunting and fishing. He is a member of the Central Alabama Gun Club and recently started reloading ammunition.
